The curriculum has been adapted to contemporary demands of the labour market.
We teach both theory and practice necessary to obtain the ATPL (A) pilot license.
We focus on the legal aspects of civil aviation in the European Union and globally, the knowledge of which will help you become a professional pilot in the future as well as prepare you to work for civil aviation authorities and institutions.
Starting as early as in the first year of studies, we ensure our students the opportunity to attend an internship held at a professional pilot training centre Goldwings Flight Academy. The centre holds the APPROVAL certificate issued by the President of the Civil Aviation Authority that allows it to conduct flight trainings.
Life tends to write very complex scenarios. Sometimes pilots are forced to give up their dream job because of a sudden health issue or random events. In our opinion, everyone should have a backup plan in case of unpredicted life situations and get a university degree. It is for this purpose that we created this new programme. With a good knowledge of aviation law acquired during the studies, you will be prepared not only for the piloting profession but also for a job with civil aviation authorities and institutions.
To be a pilot, you also need to acquire a great amount of theoretical knowledge; this is why, during this course, we will teach you e.g. aviation control procedures, general aircraft know-how, meteorology, planning, flight execution and monitoring, navigation, operating procedures, communications, and flight rules.
1. Work-Life Balance
Pilots may be away from home when they are working, but when they are home they have a work-life balance that would make anyone jealous.
2. Travel
Flying is one of the ultimate travel jobs. Every time you fly you are headed to a new destination.
3. Financial Rewards
Established pilots get paid really well, the median salary for a pilot is $98,410 per year.
4. Office With A View
As a pilot, you get paid to fly. That means your office has an endless, birds-eye view of the world.
5. Piloting improves your brain capabilities
You’ll gain knowledge that you never thought you would need to know. You’ll become a better planner and will learn to juggle several key pieces of information at the same time. You’ll learn good resource management, and how to be patient.
6. Freedom
Flying provides a sensation of freedom that you can only find high up in the sky.
7. In-Demand
There is a constant shortage of pilots. If you build your flying hours, you’re almost guaranteed to be able to find work.
8. You’ll Join an Elite Group
Aviators may have a reputation for being bold, brash, and reckless, but this stereotype couldn’t be further from the truth.
9. It’s Exciting
Flying an aeroplane is fun stuff. That’s why people are attracted to it in the first place.
10. Challenge
Flying is a challenging field to break in to. You have to be on top of your game and constantly learning about new techniques and technology if you want to be successful.
According to Boeing, over 635,000 new pilots will be needed by 2037, of which over 146,000 in Europe alone. After graduating, you will be able to start your career on the international air transport market cooperating with airlines all over the world, for example as First Officer or Compliance Officer.
